Soft rubber surface lure — FROG. It is designed for angling in the roughest conditions, in heavily plant-filled water bodies, where the use of other lures proves unviable. The main intended target species —
pike. The main method of guiding — light jerking of the lure with short intervals of 1-1.5 seconds. The strike should not be performed hastily in order to avoid low efficiency of bites. Thus, the following scheme is recommended. When you see that a pike has practically snatched the frog, don’t pull the lure from under its nose or out of its mouth. On the contrary, you should ease the cord, wait for 1.5-2 seconds and only then make an accented strike.
