Succeeded in installing DC brake on a small-diameter spool by downsizing the DC unit. Synergistic effect of the low-inertia spool with light start-up and the DC brake that controls brake force in 1/1000-second increments realize casting that is excellent in low trajectory performance, long casting performance, and anti-backlash performance even with lightweight lures. The DC brake is equipped with NEW I-DC5, which has evolved its control ability to a higher level of precision. Also, the 15-stage multistage design makes it easier to determine the best setting regardless of the type of line. MGL SPOOL IV, SILENT TUNE, and S3D reduce spool vibration and power loss during casting. The design maximizes the spool's rotational performance, further improving casting performance. The basic performance of MICROMODULE, X-SHIP, and HAGANE BODY is also substantial. New technical DC is born with the versatility to respond to salt game such as black bass, black porgy, and light rockfish.

The Magnum Light Spool IV uses a reverse tapered spool shape to create a well-balanced line winding shape. By winding the line in a balanced manner, it suppresses shaking during rotation, brings out the rotation performance of the spool, and contributes to excellent casting performance. The spool size is small and narrow, with a diameter of 30 mm and a width of 19 mm. It has low inertia and low vibration characteristics, achieving a light start-up. It can be used to target pinpoints at close range, and it can also be used to search long distances with a high level of response.

The high-precision brake mechanism I-DC5 has improved control capabilities and enabled more precise brake settings. The new Aldebaran DC has succeeded in installing a DC brake on a small diameter spool. This brake system allows for 15 fine brake adjustments by combining a mode dial with three settings: L (Low), M (Medium), and H (High), and a brake dial with five settings. By matching with a small diameter spool with low rotational inertia after winding, clear and simple settings are possible regardless of the type of line. The ability to respond to situations that were previously difficult to adjust, such as intentionally reducing the amount of line stock on the spool, has also evolved significantly. It can respond to various situations and draw a low, flexible trajectory. That trajectory is the true essence of the new Aldebaran DC.
