PE lines are indispensable in the current fishing scene. It is no exaggeration to say that the evolution and spread of PE lines has brought about the biggest change in fishing gear in modern times. However, PE lines are also weak against abrasion, and there have been many calls for stronger, more "abrasion-resistant" PE lines. Uses strong material "Spectra®"

HARDBULL8+ uses Honeywell's polyethylene yarn "Spectra®". This "Spectra®" is about 15 times stronger than steel, and is used in situations where absolute strength is required, such as bulletproof vests and ropes for ships. By using this material in PE lines, which are made up of countless fibers, each fiber is made stronger.

We compared its durability underwater with that of regular PE lines. In an experiment where it was subjected to friction until it broke, the results showed that it was about three times as durable.

Fishing lines wear out underwater, so we focused on abrasion resistance not only in the air but also underwater, and developed the line with this in mind.
